The Tsinghua University team (profile here) didn’t take the easy way to the ISC 2012 Student Cluster Competition in Hamburg. They had to fight their way through five other universities, all competing to carry the Chinese flag, in an intra-country play-in round. Tsinghua won that competition and are thus coming into Hamburg with an undefeated record. Can they keep this streak intact with a win at ISC?

We catch up with them on the last day of the competition and talk to them about their chances. They think they’re well-positioned to win, having run through all of the applications without any significant problems. Time will tell whether they’re right, and they can keep their undefeated streak alive.
